About the lessons - For Children & Adults

Lessons with Susan are tailored to each individual, creating a relaxed and enjoyable space to explore the voice. Sessions begin with gentle warm-ups and vocal exercises, helping to build confidence and technique in a way that feels natural and comfortable. Repertoire is chosen to suit the student, whether they love musical theatre, pop, classical, or something entirely different. There’s always the opportunity to work on songs they are passionate about, making each lesson personal and engaging. There’s no pressure to commit to practice outside of lessons—some students enjoy having exercises or songs to work on between sessions, while others prefer to simply enjoy their time singing with Susan. Every lesson is designed to be supportive, encouraging, and shaped around what works best for the student.

20-minute sessions are ideal for wellbeing or for those just starting out, offering a gentle introduction to singing in a relaxed setting. 40-minute sessions provide the perfect amount of time for those working towards a graded exam, allowing for more in-depth technique, repertoire, and progression at a steady pace.
