SEND Alternative Provision
Musicwonders provides Durham County Council approved SEND Alternative Provision for children and young people who benefit from a different approach to learning.
Our small group sessions support communication, confidence, emotional regulation and engagement with the core curriculum through music, creativity and personalised learning. Each programme is tailored to the needs, strengths and interests of the young person to help them reconnect with learning in a supportive environment.

Education Assessment
Musicwonders provides Educational Learning Profile assessments designed to understand how a child learns best.
Through creative activities, observation and structured tasks, we identify a child’s strengths, learning style, communication needs and gaps within the curriculum. The assessment can help inform EHCP outcomes, Individual Support Plans (ISP) and practical strategies that support confidence, engagement and meaningful progress in learning.

Home Education
Musicwonders provides creative home education sessions designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.
Through music, creative projects and practical activities, children explore the core curriculum in an engaging and supportive environment. Sessions support communication, collaboration and creative thinking while helping children develop skills across music, literacy, problem solving and expressive learning.
